In his monograph, V.V. Voinov gives an outline of the artist’s work, his biography, a list of works, as well as a bibliography. This famous antique edition, published in a circulation of only 2,000 copies, reproduces the magnificent works of the master – 3 autolithographs, 95 autotypes and 4 color illustrations. The drawings decorating the text of the book were made by B.M. Kustodiev especially for this edition. Vsevolod Vladimirovich Voinov (1880-1945) – graphic artist, painter, stage designer, art critic. Author of a number of articles on the history of Russian art. In 1921–1927 kept a diary of conversations with B.M. Kustodiev. Boris Mikhailovich Kustodiev (1878-1927) – Russian and Soviet artist. Academician of painting of the Imperial Academy of Arts (1909). Member of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia (since 1923). Portrait painter, theater artist, decorator.
