Prince Pierre Dmitrievich Soltykoff (Pierre Soltikoff; 1804-1889) was one of the largest European collectors of the 19th century, dedicating himself entirely to collecting masterpieces of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. His watch collection was cataloged in 1858 and auctioned at the Hôtel Drouot in 1861.
