This edition was printed on thick laid paper in the 15th State Printing House in a quantity of 900 numbered copies, in August 1922 under the supervision of V.I. Anisimov. Annenkov, Yuri Pavlovich (1889-1974) was an outstanding Russian portrait artist, theater and film figure, writer, and a prominent representative of Russian-French modernism and avant-garde. He was one of the most talented artists of the left art movement, skillfully combining cubism, constructivism, and realism in his work.
