Nikolai Ivanovich Olovyanishnikov (1875-1918) was a chemical engineer and the last owner of the bell-casting plant in Yaroslavl, which was founded in the 1730s by the Yaroslavl merchant Grigory Fyodorovich Olovyanishnikov. The enterprise, passed down to his sons and grandsons, lasted until 1918. The book is dedicated to famous Russian bell founders and bells and is a true encyclopedia of the history of bells in Russia. The author describes masterpieces of bell-casting art that were located in the Moscow Kremlin, Rostov Kremlin, Yaroslavl, and Uglich.
