Published to mark the jubilee of the Nobel factory in St. Petersburg which formed an essential part of the Nobel success story; the steam engines, containers, pump machinery and accessories developed there enabled the faster extraction, and pipeline and tanker transport which made Branobel the largest oil company in Russia. Has significant historical and collectible value. The mechanical factory was founded by one of the representatives of the Nobel dynasty in 1862. The Nobel Brothers Partnership specialized in the extraction and processing of oil and quickly became one of the leading enterprises both in Russia and abroad. The edition is dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the plant. The text is accompanied by colorful sketches with images of various machines produced at the plant, as well as photographs of the plant, oil wells and members of the Nobel family. Includes a description of all manufactured mechanisms and their detailed diagrams. All work on the publication, zincography and photolithography was done at one of the most famous printing houses in Russia – R. Golike and A.
